Mission
The Ohio River Basin Fish Habitat Partnership focuses protection, restoration, and enhancement efforts on priority habitat for fish and mussels in the watersheds of the Ohio River Basin for the benefit of the public.
Who We Are

Part of a Network
ORBFHP was established in 2009 and is one of 20 Fish Habitat Partnerships within the National Fish Habitat Partnership, working collaboratively to protect, restore, and enhance fish habitat nationwide.

Strong Roots and Organization
ORBFHP is coordinated by American Rivers and supported by a diverse coalition of state, federal, nonprofit, and local partners working together to restore connectivity and improve river health.

Essential Resource Provider
We turn ideas into on-the-ground impact by providing funding, coordination, and technical assistance for aquatic habitat projects across the Ohio River Basin. We support aquatic barrier removal, fish passage, and restoration efforts that benefit communities and ecosystems.
